UX Design -UMSL Library Website Redesign
Adv. problems in graphic design 1 / Fall 2022
For this project we were asked to observe the problems users encounter while using the UMSL library website and redesign it. I looked for pain points in the users' experience, tried to understand their needs, and made it easier to search and find books more quickly than in the original version of the website. I visualized the information in the book to make it easier for readers to find what they're looking for.

After watching the user experience video, I created an Empathy Map to analyze the user's feelings
As-Is Map
By analyzing the video several times. We further analyzed the user experience.
Journey Map
Based on the information collected from the user, I created the journey map, he was not familiar with the library and he was confused about the process and had trouble logging in so he reset his password, when he entered the page he didn't find the book he wanted, he re-filtered his choices and searched again, but he said a lot of negative words.
